Titan Manufacturing, a dynamic precision manufacturing company based in Weymouth, has recently made a significant stride by investing £500,000 in advanced CNC (computer numerical control) machinery from Hurco. This investment includes four Hurco VM30i machining centres and one driven tool CNC lathe, the Hurco TMX10MYi, aimed at enhancing their production capabilities.
The choice of four Hurco VM30i machining centres was driven by their impressive machining capacity of up to 1,270mm in X-axis within a compact footprint, ideal for multi-vice setups. Meanwhile, the Hurco TMX10MYi CNC lathe excels in producing high-quality turned parts with milled or drilled features, eliminating the need for additional operations.
These state-of-the-art machines are known for their precision, speed, and user-friendly programmability, marking a significant advancement in Titan’s technology infrastructure. Jon Higson, Managing Director of Titan Manufacturing, expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, highlighting their immediate impact on productivity and quality assurance.

Located at their newly-opened facility in Granby Industrial Estate, Weymouth Dorset, Titan’s expanded production workshop now spans 30,000 sq ft. This expansion has facilitated the creation of eight new jobs, underscoring their commitment to growth and innovation in manufacturing.
