Makinex has launched what it claims is the world’s smallest and most portable 23kW 240V dual-phase generator, weighing just 573 pounds. Designed for easy maneuverability, the compact unit can access tight spaces, pass through doorways, fit in elevators, and navigate around jobsites with ease. Despite being a third of the weight of comparable models, the generator delivers 23kW of 3-phase 240V power along with 120V single-phase power.
The generator’s radial flux alternator boosts efficiency by generating up to 15% more power per engine horsepower compared to conventional generators. With only three main components – the engine, electrical panel, and alternator – the unit is built for simplicity and reliability.
Targeted at flooring, concrete, and polishing contractors, the 23kW generator is capable of powering 3-phase polishing and grinding equipment, as well as single-phase vacuums. It can also handle high-amp applications such as 240V mixing pumps, submersible pumps, and even power electric mini-excavators or robots, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of jobsite needs.
