Kasto will highlight innovative solutions for precise sawing, efficient storage, and enhanced operational management at EuroBLECH, taking place from October 22-25.
At this year’s exhibition, Kasto will feature the KASTOmicut E 4.6, a manual swing frame band saw designed with a hydraulically-controlled feed and mechanical clamps for enhanced precision. This versatile saw can handle round materials up to 335 mm in diameter and flat materials measuring up to 460 x 335 mm. It also offers mitre cutting capabilities of up to 60 degrees, depending on the geometry and dimensions of the material.
The key attributes of Kasto’s offerings revolve around three core principles: precise processing, efficient space utilization, and automation. The company’s high-precision saws ensure that workpieces are manufactured to exact specifications, while their innovative storage systems maximize space and facilitate quick access to materials.
Kasto’s automated storage systems and robotic solutions not only enhance efficiency but also minimize errors and expedite processes. Their warehouse management software, KASTOlogic, seamlessly integrates storage operations, allowing for optimized inventory management and improved traceability.
In the SmartSolutions Corner at EuroBLECH, Kasto will display a broad range of products, including the KASTOlogic warehouse management system, KASTOoptisaw for straight and mitre cut optimization, and KASTOenergysave, which repurposes excess kinetic energy from storage and retrieval machines for use by other consumers in the warehouse.
Kasto’s storage solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of sheet metal processing, enabling operators to store materials in a compact manner while ensuring safe and rapid access. Among their offerings is the KASTOecostore sheet metal tower storage system, which accommodates sheets, pallets, and other flat materials up to 1,524 x 3,048 mm. This system, available in heights ranging from three to eight meters, features modular pallet supports that can be adjusted for varying load dimensions, optimizing space utilization.
Additionally, the integrated lifting mechanism allows for optimal loading and unloading heights, eliminating the need for industrial trucks when accessing cassettes. Frequency converters control the drive technology, ensuring energy-efficient operation, while a comprehensive safety concept helps prevent malfunctions and costly downtime.
