HD Hyundai XiteSolution is set to showcase its cutting-edge unmanned construction equipment at the upcoming 12th Korea International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CONEX KOREA), held from October 24 to 27 at KINTEX in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The highlight of the event will be a demonstration featuring remote control (RC) models of various construction machinery, offering visitors a glimpse into the future of automated construction.
The RC demo will include models of HD Hyundai’s mass-produced and widely used construction equipment, such as:
Excavators
Wheel loaders
Forklifts
Articulated dump trucks
These models are engineered to accurately replicate the real-life dynamics and hydraulic systems of the actual machinery, making the experience as close to real-world operations as possible.
In an effort to enhance the realism of the RC demonstrations, HD Hyundai will build a large-scale Mars exploration-themed diorama, measuring 9 meters wide by 5 meters long. The diorama will feature obstacles like craters and rocks, with equipment demonstrating tasks such as excavation, lifting, and transportation, simulating the kind of collaboration that happens on construction sites. Attendees will also have the opportunity to control the RC models themselves, offering a hands-on experience with the technology.
HD Hyundai XiteSolution will offer more than just demonstrations. The company will bring equipment from its Virtual Training Center located at the HD Hyundai Global R&D Center, allowing visitors to engage in training simulations firsthand. In addition, attendees will enjoy:
Mini excavator ride and operation experiences from HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore.
Science classes explaining the inner workings of excavators.
A kids’ zone featuring educational activities using hinoki cypress wood.
A trick art photo zone with construction equipment-themed visuals.
The event is designed to engage all ages and offer insight into both the present and future of construction technology, showcasing HD Hyundai’s leadership in automated and unmanned equipment solutions.
