Hyundai Unveils INITIUM Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle

Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled its INITIUM hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) concept at the ‘Clearly Committed’ event held at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang. This innovative vehicle is designed to deliver a driving range of over 650 kilometers and boasts a maximum motor output of 150 kW.

The production version of the INITIUM is set to launch in the first half of 2025. Hyundai will also present the INITIUM at upcoming events, including the Los Angeles Auto Show and Auto Guangzhou in November.

The name “INITIUM,” derived from Latin, means “beginning” or “first.” It reflects Hyundai’s role as a pioneer in hydrogen energy and its dedication to fostering a hydrogen society.
