Saelig Company has announced the release of the Rigol DG5000 Pro Series Signal Generators, which offer impressive capabilities, including sampling rates up to 2.5 GSa/s and a memory depth of 64 Mpts per channel (expandable to 128 Mpts). The series consists of three models: the DG5252 Pro (250 MHz), DG5352 Pro (350 MHz), and DG5502 Pro (500 MHz).
These dual-channel generators are versatile all-in-one devices that integrate multiple functions, such as Function Generation, Arbitrary Waveform Generation, Noise Generation, Pulse Generation, Harmonics Generation, and Analog/Digital Modulation. They can also operate using an attached battery pack, providing ground isolation for field testing. The 16-bit Pro models are priced significantly lower than their 14-bit Rigol DG5000 predecessors while offering enhanced features, including faster sampling rates and a larger 10.1” HD touchscreen for easier configuration of dual-channel waveforms.
The DG5000 Pro series is particularly suited for design engineers and researchers needing to generate high-frequency waveforms and complex sequences. They are ideal for applications such as embedded circuit design, power device verification, automotive control unit simulation, and testing in medical and industrial electronics.
Additionally, the DG5000 Pro Signal Generators feature isolated outputs, excellent square wave performance, and the ability to create and edit arbitrary waveforms through a user-friendly interface on a large display. These generators can effectively simulate various test scenarios, supporting research in optoelectronic devices, logic chip development, and power semiconductor manufacturing.
