In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, GenerX Generators quickly mobilized its team to restore power to thousands of homes and businesses across the Southeast, providing critical support to communities facing widespread outages. Partnering with Grasten Generators and Generac, the company worked tirelessly to deliver emergency generator services to hospitals, police departments, and local neighborhoods.
Mark Costis, owner of GenerX, praised the collective effort that helped bring vital services back online. “It was inspiring to see the compassion and dedication of everyone involved,” he said. The company’s response was swift and extensive, addressing the needs of affected communities across the region.
GenerX’s teams delivered large portable generators to key locations, including an Assisted Living Facility and the Bellaire Police Department, ensuring that essential services remained operational. In addition, installation crews replaced 16 flooded generators for customers who had been without power for days, helping families and businesses return to normalcy.
The company’s sales and service departments also played a vital role, assisting over 200 customers by phone, offering troubleshooting advice such as adding oil or resetting generator controllers. The collaborative efforts extended to partners like Midwest Generators, further demonstrating the strength of the GenerX network during the crisis.
As GenerX celebrates its 20th anniversary, its response to Hurricane Helene underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to innovation, reliability, and community support. “We’re proud to ‘Bring Back the Lightning’ for our families, friends, and neighbors,” said Costis.
GenerX’s rapid and coordinated efforts highlight the importance of teamwork and resilience in times of crisis, helping the Southeast recover and rebuild after the storm.
