Alloy Wire International Enhances Manufacturing Capacity with £200,000 Equipment Investment

by Anna

Alloy Wire International (AWI), a leading manufacturer of round, flat, and profile wire, has completed the installation of over £200,000 worth of new equipment at its cutting-edge factory in the West Midlands. This significant investment is expected to generate more than £2 million in additional capacity for the company.

The newly installed equipment includes two single-hole blocks, a 3-hole dry drawing machine, and a 4-spindle spooler, all of which are now fully operational. These additions to AWI’s manufacturing infrastructure will enable the company to further reduce lead times and provide clients in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defense, oil and gas, and medical industries with access to larger volume quantities of high-quality wire products.

In addition to the machinery upgrades, AWI has also initiated upgrades to its tensile testing machinery. This enhancement will streamline the pre-job trial process, allowing the company to offer broader support to customers throughout the duration of their projects.
