World-renowned 3D scanning hardware and software developer Artec 3D has announced a significant partnership with optics and optoelectronics leader Zeiss. This collaboration aims to introduce a suite of advanced metrology tools to the most sophisticated 3D scanning users, targeting industries such as industrial, automotive, and aerospace engineering.
The partnership integrates Zeiss software with Artec Studio software, providing a comprehensive inspection solution that enables engineers to tackle more complex challenges. This combined offering is designed to enhance productivity by allowing users to quickly address deviations, automate processes, and set new benchmarks in inspection standards.

The initial focus of the partnership will be on Zeiss INSPECT Optical 3D and Zeiss REVERSE ENGINEERING software. These tools, now available directly from Artec 3D, are ideal for rapidly transitioning from scan-to-CAD and ensuring that products meet precise standards. Additionally, these software solutions can be customized with Zeiss’s Airfoil and Tool Correction apps.
