ATS Corporation has finalized its acquisition of Paxiom Group, a key player in the packaging machinery sector, specializing in primary, secondary, and end-of-line solutions for the food and beverage, cannabis, and pharmaceutical industries.
Paxiom, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, encompasses several companies, including WeighPack Systems, EndFlex, Valtara, and Kang-Di. The group operates manufacturing facilities in Montreal, Miami, Schio (Italy), and Shanghai (China), and maintains an integration center and showroom in Las Vegas, NV. The acquisition will integrate Paxiom into ATS’s Products and Food Technology business.
With over 30 years of experience, Paxiom is renowned for its automated packaging solutions, which range from precision weigh filling and bagging to wrapping, labeling, conveyors, case forming, robotic case packing, and end-of-line palletizing. These capabilities will enhance ATS’s existing portfolio, which includes brands such as CFT, Raytec, Marco, IWK, and NCC, enabling ATS to offer comprehensive packaging and end-of-line solutions.
In the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, Paxiom reported revenues of approximately $67 million, predominantly from North American markets. The company employs about 200 staff and boasts a diverse customer base across various industries.
