Montenegro’s TNA-Energie has officially commenced construction on a diesel generator manufacturing facility in the northeastern town of Petnjica, as announced by the government in Podgorica on Wednesday.
The new plant will occupy an area of 2,800 square meters, with the possibility of future expansion to 10,000 square meters. However, details regarding the financial investment in the project have not been disclosed.
Adis Ramdedovic, the owner of TNA-Energie, stated that the facility will produce products exclusively for the German market. Ramdedovic, who has a background in Germany, founded TNA-Energie in 2017 to offer specialized solutions for secure energy supply. Since its inception, the company has installed over 5,000 emergency power systems across Germany.
In August 2023, Ramdedovic established a Montenegrin branch of the company to further its operations in the region. The new facility will be situated along the Petnjica-Bioca-Bijelo Polje regional road and is set to initially employ 20 workers, with plans to quickly increase that number. Once the plant reaches full production capacity, it is expected to create around 200 jobs, according to the government statement.
