LG Electronics announced the launch of its new “Whisen View Four Seasons Air Conditioner” on the 18th, a versatile product that combines air conditioning, dehumidification, and heating functions in one device.
This stand-type, all-in-one air conditioner utilizes high-efficiency heat pump technology, which compresses and circulates refrigerant using a dual inverter compressor to generate warm air. According to LG, the unit can provide heating even when outdoor temperatures drop as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius. The air flow intensity can be precisely adjusted, offering five different levels ranging from standard warmth to high-powered heating.
A key advantage of this new model is its energy efficiency, as it reduces electricity consumption compared to traditional electric heaters. It also features a “clean view” design, allowing users to easily access and clean the internal fan by opening the top of the unit.
The air conditioner is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance user convenience. LG’s AI Smart Care function automatically adjusts the air flow by analyzing the room layout, taking into account the placement of furniture and the air conditioner’s position, all without the need for manual adjustments via the LG ThinQ app. Additionally, customers can install a “view case” at the bottom of the unit to display pictures, books, or frames for added functionality.
The new air conditioner is priced at 3.35 million won, including the shipping cost, and is also available through LG’s “home appliance subscription” service, which offers regular maintenance visits.
Lee Jae-sung, vice president of LG Electronics’ H&A Business Division, commented, “We are committed to leading the AI air conditioning market across all seasons with innovative products that offer convenient management and differentiated features for cooling, heating, and dehumidifying.”
