Power Equipment, a leading distributor in the industrial and marine sectors, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Australian generator manufacturer Eniquest. The partnership will see Power Equipment distribute Eniquest’s diesel generators throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific regions.
The Eniquest product range, including the Husky, Ranger, and Stockman models, will now be available through Power Equipment and its network of dealers. The move further strengthens the companies’ existing relationship, which has seen Power Equipment supply Yanmar and John Deere diesel engines for Eniquest’s generators. Notably, Eniquest recently secured a significant contract with the Australian Defence Force to provide generators powered by Yanmar engines sourced from Power Equipment.
This collaboration is expected to bolster Power Equipment’s portfolio and meet the growing demand for reliable power solutions across industries such as construction, mining, agriculture, and emergency services.
Enhancing Power Solutions for Diverse Industries
Luke Foster, CEO of Power Equipment, emphasized the importance of the new partnership, calling it a key milestone for both companies.
“Eniquest’s generators are known for their exceptional reliability, durability, and high engineering standards. They are a premium product made in Australia, and we’re thrilled to add them to our portfolio,” said Foster. “Our longstanding relationship with Eniquest, through our provision of Yanmar and John Deere diesel engines, made this distribution agreement a natural fit.”
Eniquest’s managing director, Don Pulver, expressed his company’s commitment to manufacturing top-quality products. “We’re not just focused on quality; we’re dedicated to long-term success. This partnership allows us to concentrate on what we do best – designing and building superior generators,” Pulver said.
Unmatched Efficiency and Durability
The Eniquest range includes lightweight, compact generators that offer exceptional fuel efficiency, robust construction, and advanced control systems.
The Ranger and Stockman models, which utilize Yanmar diesel engines and permanent magnet alternators, provide efficiency levels of 93 to 95 percent. Pulver highlighted that the design of these generators minimizes potential failure points by eliminating relays and electronics within the alternator, ensuring greater robustness and reliability.
The Eniquest generator line is also known for its unique features and options, which contributed to its recent success in securing a military contract.
The Husky model, designed for agricultural use, is available in 3kVA and 5kVA single-phase capacities, with an optional 3-phase output. Meanwhile, the larger Ranger and Stockman models cater to a wide range of applications, offering power outputs from 3.7kVA to 44kVA across 14 variants, with both single and three-phase configurations.
Ensuring Reliable Supply
In response to growing demand, Eniquest recently expanded its manufacturing facility in Queensland, ensuring it can meet supply requirements without the delays and shortages that have affected the industry in recent years.
This expansion further solidifies Eniquest’s ability to deliver high-quality, dependable generators, positioning both companies for continued success in the competitive power solutions market.
