Winock Solar, a leading Nigerian renewable energy company, has partnered with Cola Solar, a Chinese clean energy firm, to deliver affordable solar generators to 100 million Nigerians over the next five years. The partnership aims to address Nigeria’s ongoing energy challenges by providing solar stand-alone systems to underserved communities and businesses.
Winock Solar will leverage its nationwide distribution network to promote Cola Solar’s advanced solar technologies, offering a sustainable and reliable alternative to fossil fuel-based generators. This collaboration aims to reduce carbon emissions, promote sustainability, and improve energy access across Nigeria.
Sanmi Lajuwomi, CEO of Winock Solar, stated that the partnership aligns with their mission to provide affordable energy solutions to underserved regions. Cola Solar’s CEO, Guan Qingshan, called the partnership a “game-changer” for Nigeria’s energy access, offering a cleaner and more cost-effective power source.
The initiative is set to empower Nigerian households and businesses, supporting the country’s transition to renewable energy while reducing dependence on polluting generators.
