Registration has begun for the “Energy Sustainability for Business” project on the Diia portal, aimed at helping businesses cope with energy crises. The initiative provides essential equipment, including charging stations, generators, and power banks, to businesses in six regions of Ukraine: Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odessa, and Kherson. The goal of the project is to support businesses in maintaining their operations and improving energy efficiency during unstable energy supply conditions.
To participate, businesses must meet specific criteria. They must be registered in one of the regions mentioned and have been operational for the past three months without any signs of bankruptcy or liquidation. The program will select 60 businesses through a competitive process, with participants evaluated on various factors to determine their eligibility for receiving equipment.
The equipment provided as part of the project includes charging stations with Li-ion or LiFePO batteries, capable of storing at least 1000 Wh of energy and offering an output of at least 1200 W. These stations are equipped with USB Type A, USB Type C, and 220 V sockets to accommodate a variety of devices. Additionally, businesses will receive portable gasoline generators, with a capacity of 5.0 to 6.0 kW and automatic voltage regulation (AVR), to ensure reliable power during outages. Power banks with a capacity of at least 60,000 mAh, outputting a minimum of 60 W, and featuring both USB Type A and Type C ports, a charge indicator, and an optional flashlight, will also be distributed.
This project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the energy resilience of businesses across Ukraine. Recently, dev.ua covered the presentation of the “Nezlamnost” mailbox by Nova Poshta, a new innovation featuring a 200 W solar panel and a 1.9 kWh battery to help address energy challenges.
