Schneider Electric has been recognized as the World’s Most Sustainable Corporation for 2025 by Corporate Knights, marking the second time the company has topped the Global 100 list. The company first earned this distinction in 2021, underscoring its long-standing commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence.
Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability, stating, “For an IMPACT company, sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s the driving force behind our business decisions.” He added that the recognition reflects the company’s positive, long-term impact on sustainability.
Schneider Electric’s top ranking this year is attributed to its leadership in sustainable practices, including gender diversity in its executive team and board, innovative energy efficiency solutions, and efforts to decouple business growth from carbon emissions. The company’s strong investment in sustainable research and development also contributed to its success, alongside its alignment of executive pay incentives with ESG performance.
Toby Heaps, CEO of Corporate Knights, praised Schneider Electric’s achievement, noting, “No other company has accomplished this twice. Schneider’s broad impact extends beyond its own efforts, providing the technology to drive energy efficiency and support global decarbonization.”
This recognition highlights Schneider Electric’s continued role as a leader in the global sustainability movement.
