EZVIZ, a smart security brand, has entered the robot lawn mower market with its first-ever model, the RM600 Smart Robotic Lawn Mower. This move places the company in direct competition with established players like Segway and Husqvarna. Quietly announced at the end of last year, the RM600 combines advanced mapping features with full automation, offering a hands-free mowing experience.
The robot lawn mower market has seen a surge in new product launches, particularly during CES 2025. A notable trend is the expansion of popular robot vacuum cleaner brands into the robot lawn mower space, and EZVIZ follows this trend with the launch of the RM600.
The EZVIZ RM600 stands out with its intelligent mapping capabilities. Upon setup, the mower uses sensors and the EZVIZ app to create a map of your garden, allowing it to plan an efficient mowing route. It tracks its position on the map and systematically trims the lawn, ensuring complete coverage without repeating tasks. The mower’s mapping system is similar to the one found in EZVIZ’s robot vacuums, which have received positive reviews for their performance.
For added convenience, the RM600 features an automatic recharging system. If the mower needs a power boost while mowing, it will return to its charging station, recharge, and then continue from where it left off.
In terms of performance, the RM600 offers adjustable cutting heights and can cover up to 90 m² per hour. Equipped with a high-performance motor and off-road wheels, it can handle slopes and uneven terrain with ease, even mowing in tight circles to reach difficult spots.
