Hyliion Holdings Corp. (NYSE American: HYLN) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Al Khorayef Group to supply up to twelve 200 kW KARNO™ generators for agricultural and power generation applications in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, focusing on sustainability and food security.
The KARNO generators, initially operating on LPG and natural gas, offer high efficiency, low emissions, minimal maintenance, and quiet operation. These features make them ideal for remote farms and irrigation systems where grid power is unreliable. Al Khorayef’s extensive experience in industrial machinery and agriculture, combined with Hyliion’s advanced technology, aims to provide sustainable energy solutions for the agricultural sector in the region.
“We’re excited to bring the first KARNO generators to Saudi Arabia,” said Mohamed bin Alkhorayef, CEO of Al Khorayef Group. “This partnership aligns with our commitment to sustainability and economic growth.”
Thomas Healy, CEO of Hyliion, added, “We are proud to support Saudi Arabia’s agriculture with innovative, efficient, and adaptable energy solutions to promote food security and growth.”
