Total Rental Solutions, a leading tool rental company based in the UK, has signed a significant £250,000 deal with generator supplier Shindaiwa at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry. The agreement, sealed on the first day of the event, will see Total Rental Solutions expand its fleet with 10 Eco 300 welder generators and 10 Eco 400 generators.
Unveiled at the trade show, the Eco 400 is a state-of-the-art welding generator powered by the advanced Stage V D902 Kubota engine, known for its fuel efficiency and reliability, while meeting the strictest emissions standards. The Eco 400 offers both constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) welding modes. It provides a 400-amp output for a single operator in MMA Stick Welding mode or 200 amps for dual operators. In MIG welding mode, the Eco 400 delivers 34.5V for single-operator use or 21V for dual-operator use.
In addition, the Eco 400 is equipped with a 12kVA three-phase generator, making it suitable for powering industrial machinery such as compressors, plasma cutters, and inverter welders. It also features a 3.3kVA 110V CTE auxiliary power supply for enhanced flexibility.
The Eco 300, also presented at the show, is a versatile diesel welder generator capable of delivering 50 to 300 amps of DC welding current. Powered by a water-cooled Kubota engine, the Eco 300 includes a 3kVA 110V output, suitable for running larger power tools like 9-inch grinders, and an 8kVA three-phase supply for additional power needs.
This new order marks a significant expansion of Total Rental Solutions’ offerings, positioning them to meet growing demand for advanced welding and industrial power solutions.
