Atlas Copco Group has inaugurated a 270,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, to enhance its production of air and gas compressors, including CNG, biogas, and hydrogen compressors, as well as air dryers, N2 and O2 generators, and medical filtration systems.

Built with Industry 4.0 principles, the plant integrates smart technologies and sustainability initiatives. About 80% of its energy needs will be met through a 1.3 MW rooftop solar system, grid supply, rainwater harvesting, and advanced cooling systems. The facility also features extensive testing capabilities that support Atlas Copco’s R&D efforts to ensure product efficiency and development for changing market demands. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications, ensuring top-tier quality, safety, and environmental standards.
