ADDAC System Launches ADDAC511 VC Stochastic Voltage Generator

by Anna

ADDAC System has officially launched its latest Eurorack module, the ADDAC511 VC Stochastic Voltage Generator, after more than three years of development. This new module promises to deliver an extensive range of voltage control options, featuring randomization and complex signal routing capabilities for music creators and electronic musicians.

The ADDAC511 measures 20HP in width and builds upon the foundation of ADDAC System’s 2013 release, the Complex Random module. The VC Stochastic Voltage Generator is a robust, 4-channel voltage generator, offering a full suite of features including quantization, probability, distribution, interpolation, time control, clocking, states, and a powerful 32-step sequencer. Here are some key features of the ADDAC511 VC Stochastic Voltage Generator:

Comprehensive Controls: Users have control over voltage range, quantization with custom scales, probability, distribution curves, smoothing, time and BPM ranges, and clock sources.

32-Step Sequencer: Each channel includes a sequencer that operates independently or in sync with other channels.

Extensive CV and Gate Inputs: The module offers 8 assignable CV inputs and 4 gate inputs that can be mapped to any channel setting.

Configurable Logic Outputs: Three logic outputs enable complex events by comparing channel states.

Additional Features: The module also includes an average CV output, VCO tuning options, and calibration capabilities for all CV outputs.

The ADDAC511 is designed with user-friendly navigation in mind, featuring an intuitive panel with a screen for parameter editing. Each button provides access to a page of customizable settings, ensuring a fast and fluid workflow. Secondary button functions, accessed through long presses, offer quick Channel selection, Mute, and Hold options—functions that are frequently used during live performance or studio work.

This new module expands the creative possibilities for users looking to explore stochastic and random voltage generation in their Eurorack setups, offering flexibility and deep customization options for complex musical compositions.
