EODev’s GEH2® hydrogen generator has been deployed by Acciona to power a housing construction site near Madrid, providing a zero-emission energy solution before grid access is available. The mobile, silent, and emission-free generator offers a sustainable alternative for temporary site electrification.
Acciona, a major construction company in Spain, selected EODev’s GEH2® for its ability to meet growing energy needs while adhering to strict environmental standards. The generator will provide power until the site is connected to the local electricity grid.
The GEH2® unit eliminates harmful emissions such as NOx, CO2, and particulates, contributing to cleaner air and improved working conditions on site. Unlike conventional diesel generators, it ensures healthier conditions for workers while delivering high performance and mobility.
EODev also provided hands-on support with technician Franck Magnoloux conducting preventive maintenance and training for the site team, ensuring long-term reliability and ease of use.
This deployment highlights a growing trend of using hydrogen-powered solutions to decarbonize construction sites, setting a precedent for the future of sustainable construction energy.
