China-based Guangzhou Sprsun New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Sprsun) has unveiled a new air-source heat pump designed for swimming pools, spas, and aquatic centers. The heat pump system is capable of maintaining water temperatures between 28°C and 35°C, regardless of climate conditions.
The unit features a corrosion-proof titanium heat exchanger, making it resistant to both saltwater and chlorine, ensuring long-lasting durability in harsh environments. The system is available in eleven different versions, with heating capacities ranging from 6.5 kW to 39 kW and cooling capacities between 3.6 kW and 21.5 kW.
The smallest version measures 930 mm x 380 mm x 670 mm and weighs 57 kg, while the largest model has dimensions of 1,090 mm x 510 mm x 820 mm and weighs 82 kg.
Sprsun’s new heat pump boasts an impressive coefficient of performance (COP) of 4.8 to 5.23 at 15°C and 6.9 to 7.45 at 27°C. The system’s maximum current ranges from 6.5 A to 16.2 A, with a maximum power input of 1.34 kW to 3.32 kW.
Utilizing R32 refrigerant, a Panasonic rotary compressor, and a NIDE DC fan motor, the system automatically detects when to enter defrost mode to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.
