Segway Navimow Launches X3 Series Robotic Mower for Large Properties

by Anna

Segway Navimow, a global leader in robotic lawn care technology, has announced the U.S. retail availability of its Segway Navimow X3 Series. This advanced robotic mower is designed to tackle large residential and commercial properties of up to 2.5 acres, joining Segway’s highly regarded i and H Series, which are trusted by over 170,000 customers worldwide.

Certified Efficiency for Expansive Landscapes

The Segway Navimow X3 Series is engineered for maximum efficiency, operating at double the speed of industry-standard robotic mowers. It can cover up to 5,000m² (1.25 acres) in just 24 hours. The mower boasts ultra-fast charging capabilities, a 6-blade anti-clogging disc, and an impressive 1,200m² (0.3 acres) of runtime per charge. As the first robotic mower to receive TÜV Rheinland’s High Efficiency Certification, the X3 has undergone rigorous testing to confirm its superior performance.

Precision Navigation in Complex Environments

Equipped with the latest EFLS 3.0 system, the X3 Series offers pinpoint accuracy with centimeter-level precision, making it ideal for navigating challenging landscapes. This system integrates RTK, vSLAM, and VIO (Visual Inertial Odometry) technologies. Powered by the STMicroelectronics chipset and Segway’s self-developed dual-antenna RTK algorithm, the mower enhances signal coverage by 20-30%, eliminating blind spots in intricate layouts or areas under dense tree canopies.

Advanced Obstacle Avoidance with 300° Vision

The Segway Navimow X3 Series features 3 wide-angle cameras and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor, providing a 300° field of view. This allows the mower to detect more than 200 types of obstacles, including low-hanging swings, trampolines, and steep 50% slopes, ensuring smarter and safer navigation.
