TransTech Group (TransTech), a leading portfolio company of Bridge Industries (Bridge), has completed the acquisition of Koch Heat Transfer’s international assets and intellectual property through its subsidiary, Metalforms LLC. The acquisition includes Koch Heat Transfer’s European assets and global rights to its proprietary BROWN FINTUBE® Products and TWISTED TUBE® Heat Exchanger Technologies.
Expanding Global Reach and Capabilities
This acquisition enhances Metalforms Heat Transfer’s global presence, allowing the company to better serve the energy, petrochemical, and industrial process sectors with advanced thermal solutions. Metalforms now owns all technical drawings, calculations, and intellectual property related to former Koch Heat Transfer brands, such as BROWN FINTUBE®, TWISTED TUBE®, ALCO® Hairpin, and others. Metalforms is now the exclusive global source for spare parts, replacement bundles, full exchanger replacements, and new equipment for these technologies.
Strengthening Presence in North America and Europe
As part of the transition, Metalforms has reestablished its North and South American channel partner network, with several former Koch Heat Transfer partners joining the team. This move will support key petroleum, chemical, and process industry customers. Additionally, Metalforms has launched Metalforms Italia Srl in Crema, Italy, combining former Koch Heat Transfer personnel with new Metalforms talent to provide enhanced services to European customers.
Strategic Global Expansion
“This acquisition is a key milestone in our global strategy to expand our engineered heat transfer capabilities,” said Greg Ezzell, President and Chief Growth Officer of TransTech Group. “We’re excited to bring the trusted TWISTED TUBE® and BROWN FINTUBE® Heat Exchanger Technologies back to customers worldwide. It also strengthens our ability to serve emerging markets such as India, Africa, and the Middle East.”
Clint Martin, Director of Commercial Operations for Metalforms and Metalforms Heat Transfer, added, “Our expanded global reach ensures that Metalforms Heat Transfer continues to lead in high-performance thermal solutions. We are proud to bring these legacy brands back to market with an increased focus on customer service and reliability.”
Metalforms Heat Transfer is also working to rebuild its strategic partner network in Asia, the Middle East, India, and Africa to further strengthen its global support capabilities.
