LG Supplies Advanced HVAC Solution for Logistics Center in Singapore

by Anna

LG Electronics has provided its cutting-edge Multi V™ i, a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solution with an advanced AI engine, for a new 59,800-square-meter logistics center in Singapore’s Tuas area. This project highlights LG’s commitment to expanding its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) presence in Southeast Asia.

The logistics center aims to achieve the highest level of the Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark certification, specifically the Green Mark Platinum (Super Low Energy) rating, and required an exceptionally efficient HVAC system. LG met these needs with a tailored solution, enhancing the performance and energy efficiency of the Multi V i by integrating its proprietary inverter compressor and a larger heat exchanger.

The Multi V i system optimizes operation by adapting to environmental conditions, reducing energy consumption. It includes LG’s HiPOR™ (High Pressure Oil Return) technology, which ensures peak efficiency even during part-load operation. The enlarged heat exchanger accelerates cooling and heating response times, while dual inverter compressors increase durability and overall efficiency. LG’s energy management tools, including real-time Coefficient of Performance monitoring, offer insights to help operators reduce energy use without compromising performance.
