Postability’s software solution encompasses CAM post-processing, machine simulation, and maintenance tools, empowering customers to optimize and validate their component designs. The pivotal role of post-processing in converting generic CAM system output into machine-specific NC-code makes it a crucial step in the component manufacturing process, ensuring precision and efficiency.
As a dedicated post processor provider for Mastercam software, Postability has carved a niche in serving both small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (SMEs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. Mastercam, a leading provider of CAD/CAM software solutions, will integrate Postability as part of its business unit, Mastercam, which in turn will be reported within Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions.

While the acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on Sandvik’s digital manufacturing growth strategy, its effect on the company’s EBITA margin and earnings per share will be limited. The parties involved have mutually agreed not to disclose the purchase price, respecting the confidential nature of the transaction.
