The centerpiece of this showcase is the Fanuc-controlled Lynx 2100LSYBY machine tool, boasting a 15kW/4,500rpm spindle, a 12-station turret, a 105mm Y-axis with a range of +/-52.5mm, and the capability for driven tooling at 6,000rpm.

Heath Redman, Chief Technical Officer at Mills CNC, commented on the significance of automation in the manufacturing sector: “Our SYNERGi systems have gained considerable traction with manufacturers looking to improve their productivity, flexibility, and process efficiencies. Issues such as ongoing skills shortages and the need for UK and Irish companies to enhance their competitiveness have thrust automation and lights-out, unattended operations into the spotlight. Events like the Fanuc Open House provide the ideal platform and venue for us to promote our automation systems and solutions to manufacturers eager to boost their productivity.”

Mills CNC’s presence at the Fanuc Open House underscores the company’s commitment to advancing automation and enhancing manufacturing processes for its clientele.
