TLM Laser, the UK distributor for leading laser technology companies, is making a significant investment to double the floorspace at its Bromsgrove facility. The expansion aims to support the company’s future growth in providing laser systems and solutions to various manufacturing sectors in the UK and Ireland.
The investment will double the size of TLM Laser’s existing Bromsgrove facility, with half of the new area dedicated to expanding office space. The remaining floorspace will serve a dual purpose, facilitating customer trials and demonstrations of different laser technologies and meeting the increasing demand for laser job shop work.
The move aligns with TLM Laser’s growth strategy, allowing the company to expand its technology and service offerings for customers. The additional space will also support recruitment efforts to accommodate the company’s expansion.
Andy Toms, Director of TLM Laser, highlighted the investment as part of the planned growth strategy, emphasizing the importance of providing expanded technologies and services to customers while creating the space necessary for recruitment and expansion.
In addition to the facility expansion, TLM Laser has made strategic personnel additions. Tom Kerrigan joins the company as a Marketing Executive, overseeing all marketing activities to support the expansion in existing and new markets. Furthermore, TLM Laser has hired its first apprentice, Sam Burns, who will contribute to the business through a structured program of practical hands-on and academic learning.
TLM Laser has established itself as a reliable supplier of laser processing technologies, including cutting, welding, marking, and cleaning applications. The company’s comprehensive portfolio includes ancillary equipment such as laser safety eyewear, extraction systems, and laser-safe enclosures designed and built for specific applications.
