GF has been awarded an ‘A’ rating, the highest possible, by the global rating agency CDP for its transparency and performance on climate change. Additionally, the company has maintained its ‘A-‘ rating for water security, reflecting its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
CDP, a not-for-profit charity that operates the global disclosure system for investors, companies, regions, and cities to manage their environmental impacts, released its latest assessment of over 21,000 companies yesterday. Among these, GF was one of the 346 companies that received an ‘A’ rating for climate change. This recognition underscores GF’s excellence in identifying and sharing information on environmental risks that could significantly impact its business, both financially and strategically. For the fourth consecutive year, GF also received an ‘A-‘ rating for its efforts and ambitions related to water security.
Environmental disclosure is a critical practice for organizations to address present and future opportunities and risks associated with climate change and water security. GF’s high ratings from CDP highlight its robust approach to environmental management and sustainability.

Since 2012, GF has been reporting its environmental data to CDP, which is based in London and maintains the largest environmental database on carbon emissions and water consumption worldwide.
